Reading list

Skin reviews, cell experiments, a penetration study and a human hair-count trial gathered in one place.

Skin and topical delivery

The topical anti-wrinkle review gives the formulation problem plenty of attention. The skin-regeneration review brings together clinical skin outcomes and cell work. For a physical view of delivery, the human skin penetration experiment measures copper in excised tissue.

For a concrete picture of material crossing skin, I’d open the penetration paper first. The reviews open the wider appearance-related questions.

Cells and follicles

The fibroblast collagen experiment provides a specific cell result. The tissue-remodeling review and gene-data review give that narrow finding a much wider biological setting.

The hair-count trial tests a combination formulation in men. I’d read it alongside the skin reviews for the pleasure of encountering a different endpoint, with its own small numerical surprise.
